Toni Luckett
Voice, Piano, and Saxophone Teacher
I can't remember a time in my life where music hasn't been important. Whether it was driving in the car with my parents listening to them sing with the radio or whistling a tune, music has always been around. My dad had a great, low bass voice and would always hum the bass line. My mother had a beautiful soprano voice that could rival any professional singer.
Music didn't begin with them, however. It seems as if it has been in the family for generations. My first clear musical memories of myself are of me sitting at my grandfather's piano. I would sit there for hours making up songs that, of course, were not good yet I insisted everyone stop and listen to them! When I was in 4th grade I remember asking my dad what instrument I should play. He said saxophone...and that was it! I started taking lessons at school and loved it! At this time singing wasn't really even a thought in my mind. I was happy playing saxophone and had begun taking piano lessons as well. When I got to middle school I thought that I would join chorus and it became an instant love. Fast forward a few years and I was doing competitions in voice, saxophone, and piano! Music seemed like it was a natural fit for me.
After high school I attended Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY where I was a double major in voice and saxophone with a minor in piano. It was there that I sang with the Roberts Wesleyan College Chorale. It is an amazing group of singers. I studied under some amazing singers and teachers. I was also a member of the Roberts Wesleyan College Wind Ensemble and Community Orchestra. Currently, I am a member of a local women's a cappella group called Shekinah and I play piano for Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren.
Caleb Bennetch

Caleb attended Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi where he studied violin and voice. Currently, he has finished his senior year at James Madison University where he switched to majoring in Vocal Music Education. Caleb was very involved in the choral ensembles at James Madison University, being a member of the most selective choral ensemble, the Madison Singers, for three years, being bass section leader in this ensemble the last year, being involved with James Madison University's Choral for a year and a half, and participating in various string ensembles throughout his time at James Madison University.

Megan Campbell
Trumpet Teacher
I have played the trumpet for 13 years now. I also have a background in piano. I played a little of French horn and baritone in high school. I graduated from James Madison with a degree in Music Education and a minor in Special Education. I participated in the Brass Band at JMU, where I played both cornet and flugelhorn. I have taught private lessons for trumpet for the past 5 years. I love all types of music. I took jazz, ballet, and tap dance for 8 years. I really enjoy reading books that other people recommend.
I want to eventually move to New York City to go to graduate school for a Masters in Special Education and teach middle school band in an inner city school.
